Grade Parent Resources

It was nice getting to meet most of you all the other evening.  I hope the meeting left you feeling excited and ready to serve as a Grade Parent.

I have emailed all the teacher in regards to asking about students with possible food allergies and also students that do not wish to participate in holiday activities.  If your teacher has responded with a food allergy or a child that does not celebrate holidays then I will reach out to you individually.

Below are some notes to share with your class room parents and also the links to the sign up geniuses for the events.  Please pass this information along to your parents so that they will be informed and can sign up if they would like to volunteer.

Teacher Luncheon: If you’ve signed up to help bring in food or work a shift please remember to do so this Friday the 12th.  Please put all food items in the teachers lounge on Friday morning.


Family Night: Biscuitville fundraiser is October 16th from 5pm -8pm.  Come out and enjoy breakfast for dinner while supporting the Mangum PTO!


Box Tops:  Box Tops are due to school by October 17th.  The class with the most Box Tops donated will win a Pajama Day & Donuts for the class and a $25 Amazon gift card for the teacher.  You can click on the following link to print out a Box Tops collection sheet.  Please make sure to write your students name and their teachers name on their sheets or baggies of Box Tops that they turn in.  Please make sure to have trimmed the Box Tops so that they can easily be counted.  When all possible please try to bundle the Box Tops in groups of 50.

All Pro Dads:  All Pro Dads will be on Tuesday the 23rd from 6pm – 7pm.  Guest speaker Tommy Hunt will be speaking.  Mr. Hunt is a former ACC Referee and Supervisor of ACC Officials.  The event will be held in the cafeteria.


Kids Night Out:  Kids Night Out for all grades will be held at Mangum on October 19th.  This event is for current Mangum students only.  There will be pumpkin activities, games and a movie for the kids.  Cost is $12 per child and includes the activities, pizza and a drink.  Parents must fill out and register their children prior to the event – no walk-ins allowed.  Please check your kids folder for the permission slip that was sent home if they would like to attend.  If you would like to signup to volunteer to help during the event please click on the link below:!/showSignUp/30e0e4fa9ae22a3ff2-kids


Book Fair:   The Book Fair will run from October 19th through October 26th. We are needing some volunteers to help sign up for shifts to work the Book Fair in the mornings before school and also after school to help the kids find books and get checked out.  If you would like to volunteer to work a shift please click the link below:
